About the NSB Garden Club

The New Smyrna Beach Garden Club (NSBGC) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization organized in 1929 and a member of:

National Garden Clubs, Inc. “Plant America”

National Garden Clubs, Inc. provides education, resources, and national networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility.

Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. The Deep South Region is dedicated to advancing the objectives of the National Garden Club, Inc. and to coordinating the interests and the projects of the six states in the region.

Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. Mission Statement:

“Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. promotes the love of gardening, floral and landscape design, and civic and environmental responsibility by providing education, resources and networking opportunities for our members, youth and the community.”

Our 3 Annual Fundraising Events Support:

AdventHealth Hospital Oncology Department – Providing floral arrangements to bring beauty and comfort
Arbor Day Celebrations – Supporting Arbor Day activities in New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater
Butterfly Garden Certifications – Helping gardens become certified butterfly habitats that support pollinators and local ecosystems
School Butterfly Gardens – Installing and supporting butterfly gardens at one nursery school and one elementary school
Camp Wekiva Scholarships – Providing scholarships to help young people experience nature
Habitat for Humanity – Supporting efforts to help build stronger, healthier communities
Mary Avenue Community Garden – Contributing to a shared community garden to encourage gardening and neighborhood involvement.
Plant a Tree USA – Supporting tree planting and environmental conservation efforts.
SEEK Scholarships (Save the Environment through Education and Knowledge) – Supporting students pursuing environmental studies
